It is important that you read and understand these Terms and Conditions before booking with Reset Tours.
By using our website, booking a tour, using our travel services, or otherwise indicating your acceptance of these Terms, you agree to be bound by them and our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, you may not access or use our Services.
Unless we state otherwise, our Services are intended for individuals who are at least 20 years old. Individuals under 20 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian unless explicitly permitted by us.
Please note that these Terms include an arbitration provision that applies to any disputes between you and Reset Tours. By agreeing to these Terms, you:
Agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration;
Waive your right to a trial by jury; and
Waive your right to participate in any class or representative action.
These Terms apply to all users of our Services, regardless of their country of residence, unless otherwise specified.
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by Reset Tours (“we,” “us,” or “our”), including booking and participation in any tours, trips, or travel-related services (“Services”).
By booking a tour, using our website, or otherwise engaging with our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use our Services.
2. Nature of Services
Reset Tours organizes and hosts snowboard and adventure travel experiences, including coordinating accommodations, transportation, guiding, and activities.
We may work with third-party providers (such as hotels, transportation companies, and activity operators). While we carefully select these providers, they operate independently and are responsible for their own services.
3. Eligibility
Participants must be at least 20 years old unless otherwise specified.
Participants under 20 may only attend if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and with our prior written approval.
All participants must meet any stated skill level, health, and fitness requirements.
4. Booking & Acceptance
Submitting a booking request does not guarantee a reservation. All bookings are subject to availability and our acceptance. A binding agreement is formed once we issue a booking confirmation.
5. Pricing & Payment
Prices are listed per person unless otherwise stated
A deposit (50% of the whole payment) is required to secure your booking. This must be paid within 24 hours of booking confirmation
Full payment is due 90 days prior to departure unless otherwise specified
Prices may change prior to confirmation due to:
exchange rates
supplier costs
availability
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
BY YOU:
90+ days before departure: deposit may be partially refundable (minus fees)
Within 90 days: generally non-refundable
Specific cancellation terms will be provided at booking.
BY US:
We may cancel a trip due to:
insufficient participants
safety concerns
events beyond our control (see Force Majeure)
In such cases, you will be offered:
a refund, or
transfer to another trip
We are not responsible for external costs (flights, gear, etc.).
7. Changes
We may modify itineraries due to:
weather
snow conditions
safety concerns
operational needs
We will make reasonable efforts to provide comparable alternatives.
8. Travel Requirements
You are responsible for:
valid passport
visas (if required)
travel insurance
compliance with local laws
Failure to meet requirements may result in denied participation with no refund.
9. Travel Insurance (Mandatory)
All participants must carry travel insurance covering:
medical expenses
emergency evacuation
trip cancellation
Proof may be required prior to participation.
10. Health & Fitness
Our tours are physically demanding.
By booking, you confirm that:
you are physically capable of participating
you have consulted a medical professional if needed
We reserve the right to remove participants who pose a safety risk.
11. Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that snowboarding and travel involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:
falls and collisions
avalanches
changing weather conditions
remote locations
You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
12. Authority During Tours
Trip leaders and guides have final authority on all safety decisions.
Failure to follow instructions may result in removal from the tour without refund.
13. Third-Party Providers
Third-party services are governed by their own terms.
We are not liable for:
acts or omissions of third parties
delays, cancellations, or service failures
14. Optional Activities
Optional activities not included in the itinerary are undertaken at your own risk and are not part of our Services.
15. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including:
natural disasters
weather conditions
pandemics
government actions
16. Media Release
You grant us permission to use photos and videos taken during trips for marketing purposes unless you notify us in writing prior to the trip.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the trip
18. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Reset Tours harmless from claims arising from:
your participation
your actions or negligence
your violation of laws or these Terms
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
20. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in California, and you waive the right to a jury trial and class action.
21. Additional Waivers
Participation may require signing a separate liability waiver. Failure to sign required documents may result in removal without refund.
22. Japan-Specific Tour Conditions (if applicable)
Tours operate in varying snow and weather conditions
Safety equipment may be required for backcountry access
Rentals and certain gear are not included unless specified
Participants must follow all local regulations and guide instructions
